EUROSAI (European Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions) is one of the seven Regional Working Groups of the International Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI). The EUROSAI membership stands at SAIs of European States and also the European Court of Auditors. |
| EUROSAI undertakes its activity through three bodies, the Congress, the Governing Board and the Secretariat General. |
| The Congress, composed of all members of the Organisation, is the supreme body of EUROSAI and meets at least every three years. The Constituting Congress of the Organisation was held in Madrid (Spain) in 1990. The following congresses were held in: |
- 1993, Stockholm (Sweden);
- 1996, Prague (Czech Republic);
- 1999, Paris (France);
- 2002, Moscow (Russian Federation);
- 2005, Bonn (Germany);
- 2008, Kraków (Poland).

The 8th EUROSAI Congress will be held in Lisbon on 30 May – 2 June 2011. |
The EUROSAI Governing Board

The Chair of the EUROSAI Governing Board is the head of the SAI which hosted the latest Congress: at present it is Mr Jacek Jezierski, the President of Supreme Chamber of Control of the Republic of Poland. Mr Jezierski has been chairing the EUROSAI Governing Board since its 34th Meeting held on 5 June 2008 in Kraków. The First Vice-Chairmanship has been given to the SAI of Portugal and the Second Vice-Chairmanship to the SAI of Iceland.

| The EUROSAI Secretariat General |
Since the very foundation of the EUROSAI, the EUROSAI Secretariat General has been operated by the SAI of Spain. At present the Secretary General of the EUROSAI is the President of the Spanish Court of Audit, Mr Manuel Núñez Pérez. |
Within EUROSAI the following groups operate:
Task Force on the EUROSAI Strategic Plan
The Task Force was set up by the EUROSAI Governing Board on 5 June 2008 in Kraków with the aim of preparing the EUROSAI Strategic Plan. The Polish NIK chairs the Task Force. |
Task Force on the Audit of Funds Allocated to Disasters and Catastrophes
The Task Force was set up by the 7th EUROSAI Congress in Kraków in 2008 and is chaired by the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine. |
Working Group on Environmental Auditing
The Working Group was set up in the Congress held in Paris in May 1999. This Group used to be chaired by the Polish NIK but during the 7th EUROSAI Congress the chairmanship was given to SAI of Norway. |
IT Working Group
The Working Group was set up by the 5th EUROSAI Congress in Moscow in 2002. This Group used to be chaired by the SAI of the Netherlands but during the 7th EUROSAI Congress the chairmanship was given to SAI of Switzerland. The Polish NIK takes active part in works of the Group. |
EUROSAI Training Committee (ETC)
EUROSAI Training Committee (ETC) was established by the Governing Board at its meeting in Madrid in 2000. The ETC is composed of eight members: the SAIs of the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Poland, Portugal, Spain and UK. |
