Tadeusz Dziuba was born on 17 December 1948 in Poznań. He graduated from the Faculty of Wood Technology of the Agricultural Academy in Poznań (now the Poznań University of Life Sciences). He also studied at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Poznań University of Technology. In 1980, he earned the PhD in engineering. Tadeusz Dziuba finished post-graduate studies in accounting at the Poznań University of Economics and Business, as well as post-graduate studies in property valuation at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. In 1972-1993, he was an academic at the Agricultural Academy in Poznań. In 1993- 2011, he worked at the Supreme Audit Office. In 1994, he completed NIK’s initial training for auditors with a good result. In different periods, he was appointed a deputy director of NIK Branch in Poznań and a deputy director of the Department of Education, Science and Culture. Also, he was a deputy director of NIK Branch in Bydgoszcz twice. He supervised audits, e.g. in the field of public finance (including budget audits), public procurement, central and local government administration, health protection, education (including higher education). He published articles on auditing in scientific bimonthly “State Audit”.
With the support of the Solidarity union, Tadeusz Dziuba obtained a seat in the Contract Sejm in 1989-1991 from the district Poznań Nowe Miasto [New Town]. At that time, he was a deputy chair of the Education, Science and Technological Development Committee, a member of the Legislative Committee and the National and Ethnic Minorities Committee. In 2006-2007, he was the governor of Wielkopolska Province. In 2010, he was elected a councilman of the City of Poznań. In 2011-2019, he was a member of Sejm of the 7th and 8th term. He was, among other things, a deputy chair of the State Audit Committee and a deputy chair of the Health Committee. He was also a member of the National Defence Committee.
In 1973-1990, Tadeusz Dziuba was a member of the Alliance of Democrats. A member-founder of the Centre Agreement, a member of the national and provincial leadership of that party, of which he was a member until 1995. In 2011-2019, he was a member of the Law and Justice party and the head of the party’s district leadership.
