NIK report on dental care in Poland brought alarming data. As many as 92 percent of Polish teenagers have caries and the number of toothless adults is growing. It is no better in case of small children - only a little part of the youngest generation is free from mouth diseases. Many people still believe that milk teeth are not worth treating anyway. Piotr Wasilewski from NIK’s Health Department comments on the NIK audit results.
