Saskia J. Stuiveling has been heading the Netherlands Court of Audit for over eleven years. In her management of the Dutch SAI, she strongly supports innovation. In her opinion, innovation is a way of thinking. She believes that SAIs need to react to the changing world and to set the directions of changes on their own, otherwise they will not be able to control them – that was the main message she had at the meeting with the NIK’s panel of directors and advisors.
