The seminar, aimed at disseminating the contents of the International Standards of Supreme Audit Institutions (ISSAI) on an European level to facilitate national implementation and application within the SAIs - members of EUROSAI, was attended by representatives of European SAIs from 29 countries.
During the 1st day of the seminar the presentations were delivered by Mr Jacek Jezierski, President of the NIK, Mr Henrik Otbo, Auditor General of Rigsrevisionen, as well as by the representatives of INTOSAI Development Initiative (IDI), INTOSAI Working Group on Environmental Auditing and the following PSC sub-committees: Financial Audit Guidelines, Compliance Audit, Internal Control Standards and Performance Audit.
The 2nd day of the seminar was dedicated to workshops. The seminar participants also shared their experience in implementing the standards on a national level (the NIK's experience was presented by Mr Paweł Banaś, Advisor to the President of the NIK).
