The first meeting of the Task Force was held in Warsaw in January 2009. As a result of the meeting, a questionnaire was developed and distributed among all EUROSAI Members containing the questions related to the mission and vision of EUROSAI as well as to the strengths and weaknesses of the Organisation. On the basis of the questionnaire, four Strategic Goals were formulated and the draft mission and vision of EUROSAI was developed. Moreover, the tasks were set that must be undertaken in order to implement the said Strategic Goals. There were also output indicators determined for assessing the implementation of the activities/projects within individual goals.
The first draft of the Strategic Plan was sent for opinion to the Governing Board members and observers in March 2010. Their comments will be analysed during the fourth meeting of the Task Force which is scheduled for June 2010. On the basis of these comments, changes will be introduced to the Plan. Moreover, the meeting is to consider possible changes to the EUROSAI organisational structure to allow for effective implementation of the document. The amended plan and structure will be then send to the Governing Board members and observes for consultations. In September 2010, the draft Strategic Plan will be sent to all EUROSAI Members for comments and opinions.
