NIK evaluates the state budget

Jacek Jezierski, the President of NIK presented the Sejm with an analysis of state budget execution and monetary policy assumptions. The Council of the Supreme Audit Office passed a resolution in which they expressed positive opinion on giving a vote of approval for the Council of Ministers for 2011.

The NIK Council positively evaluated the state budget execution in 2011 and the initiated system reforms. They resolved that the measures taken by the government, although heading in the right direction, are still insufficient to solve current problems. That is why, further reforms of public finance are essential.
