NIK’s international relations

NIK has been cooperating with the Supreme Audit Institutions of other countries for many years now. "International cooperation is a window on the world for NIK" – explains Aleksandra Kukuła from the International Relations Unit. The exchange of knowledge and everyday work experience with our colleagues from abroad helps Polish auditors improve.

Appointment as external auditor of the European Organisation for Nuclear Research (CERN) was a big success of the Polish SAI last year. Another important development was that the European Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions recommended NIK as candidate for the Governing Board of INTOSAI.
