The auditors will check how the CAO monitored the activity of OLT Express. NIK will review if the existing legal framework provides the CAO with sufficient tools to check credibility of an entity applying for the licence and effectively enforce requirements defined by the law from the carriers.
The Supreme Audit Office has already started an audit related to the bankruptcy of travel agencies. The actions of the public and self-government administration towards individual entities will be reviewed. This time NIK will check in what manner the CAO, being a public institution, performed its obligations.
