Based on gathered information, NIK formulated 33 de lege ferenda proposals, 184 notifications of crimes and misdemeanours and 221 notifications to the Commissioners for Public Finances Discipline. The public opinion noticed and appreciated the work of NIK. The research of the Public Opinion Research Centre (CBOS) reveals that within the last three years the number of adult Poles who evaluate the work of NIK as ‘good’ or ‘very good’ has increased by 5 percent. As many as 66 percent of persons with a university degree, regardless of their political views, positively evaluate the work of the Supreme Audit Office. Within the last three years, this figure has gone up by more than 10 percent.
