Working Meeting in Preparation for the 8th EUROSAI Congress

On 14 May 2010, the second working meeting for the preparation of the 8th EUROSAI Congress (to be held on 30 May – 2 June 2011 in Lisbon, Portugal) was organised in Tribunal de Contas in Lisbon. During the meeting, the participants discussed the themes of the 8th Congress, the organisation of works in preparation of the Congress and the development of the principal papers for each of the three Congress themes.

The deadline for elaborating the principal papers was also set. The principal papers will be distributed among the EUROSAI Member SAIs which will prepare their contribution - country papers - on this basis. Country papers, in turn, will be the starting point for developing the discussion papers (one for each Congress theme). The next working meeting is planned for autumn this year.
