NIK President Marian Banaś has appealed to the world community of Supreme Audit Institutions to cut all ties with the institutions of Russia, a country that, with its aggression against the neighbouring state of Ukraine, demonstrates its contempt for the values that are the foundation of INTOSAI and EUROSAI. In letters sent to both organisations NIK President has underscored the need for decisive actions to exclude the authoritarian Russia from the community of Supreme Audit Institutions. “We believe that no official contacts should be maintained, nor any forms of cooperation with the SAI of Russia” – NIK President wrote.
