ATHENA project

The audit of the EU ATHENA  Mechanism is an opportunity for Polish inspectors to have an insight into the European Union functioning. ”It's very interesting to see this large institution from the inside” - says Banaś. Most tasks related to the financial audit of the EU military missions are performed in Brussels.  This work is complemented by auditors who go on missions to evaluate on the spot if the money earmarked for military operations is used properly and effectively.
