Condolences for Mexico

President Krzysztof Kwiatkowski expressed condolences to Mr Juan M. Portal, head of the Superior Audit Office of Mexico, regarding the tragic earthquake that struck the capital city of Mexico.

The Mexican SAI presides the Governing Board of OLACEFS (Organisation of Latin American and Caribbean Supreme Audit Institutions). NIK cooperates with the Mexican auditors within EUROSAI, while organising joint EUROSAI-OLACEFS conferences. Both institutions also  collaborate within INTOSAI (International Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions). NIK and the Superior Audit Office of Mexico participated in the activities of the INTOSAI Governing Board as the Governing Board Members.
