Mr Kwiatkowski and Mr Leskaj discussed current issues of the bilateral cooperation between the SAIs. As the date of the start of the IPA twinning project implementation approaches, Mr Kwiatkowski has confirmed that it is a priority project for NIK and its management. NIK is going to implement the project at the KLSH in the consortium with the Croatian SAI. The project is going to last 24 months.
Mr Leskaj was also very interested in NIK’s audit planning procedure, including audit subjects selection and risk analysis. NIK also updated Mr Leskaj on the progress of the ISSAI 30 review project, coordinated by the Polish SAI. The international project team includes several SAIs from all around the globe and the Albanian SAI is a very active participant.
