NIK about outdoor swimming places

The condition of outdoor swimming places in Poland is improving every year. The NIK audit revealed a lot of issues, though. In some municipalities there were too few life guards and not enough warning signs. In some cases the water quality was not tested at all. The data on the website dedicated to outdoor swimming places was incomplete and outdated. As a consequence, the people planning their rest by the water did not know what swimming conditions to expect.
