At the two-day meeting the EUROSAI Governing Board discussed the host of the XI EUROSAI Congress. NIK supports the Czech candidacy. Furthermore, i.a. the activity of the teams responsible for the implementation of particular goals of the EUROSAI Strategic Plan 2011-2017 was presented. The Supreme Audit Office of Poland actively participates in the works aimed at building capacity of EUROSAI, is deeply involved i.a. in the implementation of the international auditing standards, improvement of knowledge and expertise exchange, as well as works directed at an efficient management, organisation and communication between the states.

The meeting of EUROSAI was also an opportunity to sum up the activities of the IT Working Group, which has been chaired by NIK since 2014. The group presented i.a. the progress in the preparation of the CUBE portal, aimed at the exchange of knowledge on audit reports related to IT (Control Space of e-Government).
During the meeting NIK representatives also presented the decisions of the International Organisation of the Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) concerning EUROSAI, and conducted a discussion on the improvement of the cooperation between the two organisations.

In Luxembourg the President of NIK, Krzysztof Kwiatkowski, met with the member of the European Court of Auditors, Janusz Wojciechowski (NIK President in 1995-2001). The cooperation of the Supreme Audit Office of Poland and the European Court of Auditors has been developing since the 1990s. NIK together with ECA initiated i.a. the cooperation between SAIs of the EU candidate states.
Polish auditors are conducting more and more joint audits with the ECA auditors. They are active members of the ECA audit team that examines i.a. the UE programme for the eradication of animal diseases and zoonoses. They also participate in a joint audit concerning the operational programmes 2014-2020 and the Europe 2020 strategy.
