NIK audits in 2015

NIK has started to implement its audit plan for 2015. The plan was adopted at the end of October 2014 by the Council of NIK. The proposals of audit subjects were made based on risk analysis conducted by NIK branches and departments, issues reported in MPs’ requests and citizens’ complaints.

In 2015, NIK intends to conduct 110 audits, including:

104 planned audits;
audit of the state budget execution in 2014 in 102 budget parts and selected entities whose financial plans are included in the Budget Act;
audit of the execution of monetary policy guidelines in 2014;
financial audit of the European Organisation for Nuclear Research (CERN) for 2014;
financial audit of the European Organisation for Nuclear Research (CERN) for 2015;
financial audit of the Council of Europe (CoE) for 2014;
financial audit of the Council of Europe (CoE) for 2015.

Of 109 audits being part of the NIK work plan (without the state budget execution audit), 84 ones will be conducted as coordinated audits (in which more than one NIK audit unit is involved) and 25 as non-coordinated audits. Also in 2015, the audits started in 2014 will be continued.
