NIK on biofuels and biocomponents

Neither the obligations of Poland under the EU law nor the state subsidy helped to make liquid biofuels and biocomponents more popular in transport. The interest is insignificant: from 2009 to 2012 the public administration bought only 4.6 percent of cars compatible with liquid biofuels. The Ministry of Economy has no car of this type. Since 2011 only four farmers have declared production of liquid biofuels for their own needs.
