Krzysztof Kwiatkowski expressed his compassion: It is with great sadness that I heard of the unfortunate events in Munich. I express my heartfelt sympathy to the families of the victims. I convey sincere condolences on behalf of my colleagues from the Polish Supreme Audit Office and of myself.
NIK and the BRH have been partners in international collaboration for many years. Recently, Heads of the two SAIs have made a decision towards commencing annual, subject-matter consultation. What is more, the Polish NIK and the German BRH are implementing together the twinning project for the State Audit Office of Georgia, and next year they are planning to initiate common parallel audit in the area of, among many, VAT tax fraud.
