Krzysztof Kwiatkowski expressed his regret: It is with great sadness that I heard of the vicious terrorist attack in Nice. I express my heartfelt sympathy to the families of the victims. I convey sincere condolences on behalf of my colleagues from the Polish Supreme Audit Office and of myself.
NIK and the French Cour des comptes have been partners in international collaboration for many years. In 2014 the French SAI handed over to the Polish NIK the function of the external auditor of the Council of Europe. Cour des comptes is also an active member of the INTOSAI Internal Control Standards Subcommittee, which is chaired by NIK.
