NIK and BPK have been closely cooperating since 2008. Five specialised seminars were organised since then, regarding, among others, money laundering, fight with corruption, ethics code of the state auditors and communication policy. In 2013 NIK was appointed by the Indonesian Parliament to conduct a peer review at BPK. In 2014 President Krzysztof Kwiatkowski presented the final report and BPK commenced to implement the recommendations.
