NIK President sent his condolences to the President of the Audit Court of Lebanon

NIK President Marian Banaś expressed his sympathy to the President of the Audit Court of Lebanon following the deadly blast in the country’s capital, Beirut: “It was with great grief that I heard of the massive explosion in Beirut. In these painful and suffering moments, I forward our sincerest condolences and solidarity to the families of the victims. I also hope that the accident did neither directly hit you nor any employee of your SAI. Please accept the most sincere tokens of compassion and support on behalf of my own and all employees of the Supreme Audit Office of Poland.”

The Polish Supreme Audit Office and the Audit Court of Lebanon cooperate under the umbrella of INTOSAI. NIK is a Member of the INTOSAI Governing Board and Chair of the INTOSAI Subcommittee on Internal Control Standards.
