Poles more and more positive about NIK

NIK is better rated by men (56 percent of positive ratings) than women (42 percent of positive ratings). NIK’s work is appreciated more by people aged 35-44 (52 percent of positive ratings) as well as 18-34 and 45-54 (50 percent of positive ratings). As much as 64 percent of respondents with a university degree claim that NIK works properly. Only 7 percent of people with a university degree negatively evaluate NIK’s work. NIK’s work is rated positively by 62 percent of managers from private and state-owned companies. The Polish SAI is also appreciated by employees of public institutions (56 percent of positive ratings).

NIK’s ratings are higher with persons who are better-educated and have higher income. NIK received relatively few good ratings from non-qualified blue-collar workers (41 percent), persons with primary and vocational education degrees (43 percent) and inhabitants of villages (47 percent). Most inhabitants of large cities (having over 500 thousand inhabitants) appreciate NIK’s work (55 percent of good ratings).

The evaluation of NIK is not related to political views. Supporters of all political options give NIK similar ratings (about 55 percent). NIK’s work is currently perceived better than the one of the Constitutional Tribunal, the Ombudsman, the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau, the courts or prosecutor’s offices.
