Sejm Committees’ initiative following NIK audit

The Sejm Committees were alarmed by the data from the report of the Supreme Audit Office. In higher classes of primary schools about 15 percent of pupils regularly avoid physical education (PE) classes. In lower and upper secondary schools this is as much as 30 percent. Improving sports infrastructure in schools is of no help in this case. At the same time, almost half a million children in Poland are overweight or suffer from bad posture.
