- I was truly saddened by the news about the tragic attack in Barcelona where a vehicle drove into a crowd of people in Las Ramblas district earlier today. I forward most sincerest condolences and solidarity from the Supreme Audit Office of Poland to the families of the victims of this horrible event. I hope injured recover quickly. - the President of NIK wrote.
The condolences were offered to Mr Ramon Alvarez, the President of the Spanish Court of Auditors who is also the Secretary General of EUROSAI (European Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions). In May this year Krzysztof Kwiatkowski, the President of NIK has been elected the Vice-President of the organisation.
